We are proud to announce that GYANT has completed the Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II certification. The SOC 2 report by an external auditor certifies that GYANT successfully meets Security, Confidentiality, and Availability criteria, as well as HIPAA Security Rule requirements. The certification demonstrates our commitment to the most rigorous security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy standards in handling customer data.

Created by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 Type II certification is an internal controls report that captures how a company safeguards customer data and protects their health information. These benchmarks are based on certain Trust Services Criteria: confidentiality, security, availability, privacy, and processing integrity. Suppliers can be evaluated for as little as one criterion. GYANT has chosen to be audited along the first three of those criteria, as well as a HIPAA Security Rule, and has successfully met all of them.

Companies that use cloud service providers use SOC 2 reports in order to assess and address the risks associated with third-party technology services. The SOC 2 Type II certification ensures that GYANT’s customers’ data as well as the information of our ecosystems are protected at all times by strict compliance requirements.
